God Loves you!
John 3:16 For God so loved the world[that includes you!], that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
We are all guilty of sin.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
None of us are good enough on our own to be accepted of God. Jesus Christ is the glory of God and we all fall short of His perfection.
God requires a penalty for sin.
Romans 6:23a For the wages of sin is death….
Our sinned earned us all a penalty, that penalty is eternal separation from God in the eternal lake of fire Rev 20:14.
Jesus satisfied God’s required penalty for our sin!
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.!
Jesus suffered death, the wage of our sin, for us showing us God’s love for us.
God gave testimony the wages of sin were completely settled by raising Jesus from the dead!
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures.
Acts 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised Him from the dead.
To receive this free payment for our sin, we simply trust Jesus Christ as Saviour from a repentant heart.
Romans 6:23 the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
A gift can only be received and remain a gift but a gift must be received to take possession. Jesus paid for this gift of eternal life and forgiveness of sin for every person in the world and offers God’s salvation to whosoever will receive Him as Saviour. This receiving is done by faith. Trust Jesus Christ and Him alone as payment for our sin. Rely on His finished work on the cross and the empty borrowed tomb He raised from the dead in for eternal life. Turn from human reasoning and call on Jesus by faith in God’s word and rest in God’s salvation.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever[there you are again!] shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
