Our Core Beliefs

Doctrinal Statement

The Bible

We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testament is the complete revelation from God and is verbally inspired and divinely preserved. We believe the King James Authorized Bible is the perfect word of God for english speaking people. This Bible is our final authority in all matters.

God

We believe in one God eternally existent as the Father, the Word(Son), and the Holy Ghost.

We believe God is supreme in His person, eternal in His being, absolute in His attributes, glorious in His perfection.

We believe God to be the creator and sustainer of all things, visible and invisible.

We believe the universe and all that is therein to be held together by the word of His power.

Jesus Christ

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ to be God manifest in the flesh, virgin born, without sin, crucified and risen. We believe in His personal, pre-tribulation, and pre-millennial return.

Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, and that His purpose is to convict sinners and offer salvation through the person of Jesus Christ. Christians are partakers of the Holy Spirit and empowered for service by Him. He is the Great Comforter.

Fallen Man

We believe that man was created in the image of God and by choice fell into sin and death. Because of this fall, every person is sinful and under condemnation to eternal judgment.

Salvation

We believe salvation is available to all men wholly by grace through faith in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ alone, apart from human works or merit of any kind.

Security of believers

We believe that those who receive Jesus Christ as Savior are eternally secure. Our security rests on the finished work of Jesus Christ as a result we have assurance and are  sealed, taught and comforted by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption.

Church

We believe salvation makes one a member of the body of Christ and the members of this body should gather together in a local church where they may minister one to another, practicing New Testament principles, believing Bible doctrine, observing ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s supper and exercising autonomy.

Heaven and Hell

We believe all men rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ will spend eternity in the conscious torment of a literal lake of fire, while those receiving the Lord Jesus Christ will spend eternity in the glorious presence of God.

Great Commission

We believe it is the duty of every believer to proclaim the saving gospel to all men by personal testimony and by giving of their means to finance the evangelistic efforts of the local church at home and in all the world.
